In the morning they put out cinnamon rolls, crescents, grapefruit halves, and cookies. We pulled into Chicago's Union Station around 10:30 am, almost 18 hours behind schedule. We had reserved a room at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago and had planned on taking in some of the museums Thursday afternoon and all day Friday. That didn't happen since Friday was half gone by the time we got to Chicago. Fortunately the people at the hotel understood that we had no control over missing our reservation and did not charge us for it. However “GetARoom.com” through which we had made our reservations did charge us and Carol is currently negotiating with them for a refund. We did manage to go to the top of the Sears, now Willis, Tower where the views were incredible.
